What We Do

Human-AI Interaction Lab (HAIL) focuses on designing and improving interactions between humans and artificial intelligence technologies. We investigate a wide range of topics related to Human-AI interaction. For example, we have created generative models (WordGesture-GAN and TouchTyping-GAN) that simulate typing behaviors on soft keyboards, developed LLM-powered technologies for smartphone interaction, and created intelligent input technologies for people with disabilities.
